At GP we have a spokesmodel program in place!  Our goal is to find amazing, smart, outgoing, interesting high school juniors to represent our studio for the Class of 2013.  GP Models receive a free model test shoot, facebook images, GP Cash for referrals, and much much more!  Only 2-5 GP Models will be selected for each area school so fill out your application and get in the running!  Please visit our senior website with a parent and read all about the GP MODEL PROGRAM and then fill out an application!  Deadline for apps is Friday, February 17th.

Imagine sitting in a circle opening gifts for your baby shower. (yes, it’s just as awkward as your bridal shower) Something about opening gifts up in front of an audience makes me so nervous and flush…unless of course it’s my birthday, in which case, look out, wrapping paper flying everywhere.  ANYWHO…back to your baby shower.  It’s an onslaught of gifts…new diaper bag, baby monitor, onesies, butt paste (what?), the cutest little baby socks ever, and a handful of gift certificates to GP?  What’s this?  That’s right, your amazing baby shower planner registered you at Griffith Photography to have newborn photographs done.  That leads me to my point in this blog post…Did you know you can register for showers at GP?  Call us up and we’ll schedule a consultation so you can meet us and check out the studio and we’ll set you up with truly one of the most amazing gifts you could ever imagine for your new arrival!  The best part is that Mama’s registered at GP for their baby shower get 40 custom birth announcements on the house!

Gotta love me some Beckman’s….still trying to figure out how to weasel my way into that clan!  They are so easy going, lovely, passionate, and FUNNY people!  I enjoyed photographing them before 3 of the 4 head back off to college!  This is a great time to remind you all to stop procrastinating your family portrait session!  We all do it….I want to get a better tan, or lose a few pounds, or blah blah blah…WHATEVER!  Just get it scheduled and let us take care of the rest!  There’s nothing more important than family and capturing portraits of your clan is oh so important!

oh MAN!  Look at this cutie!  I’m not only posting this shot because she is so so so adorable…but also because I want to get my hands in that grass just like she does!  I love photographing babies this age!  The crawling, the smirking, the ‘da da’s…it’s just too much!!!!  And their curiosity and appreciation for even the littlest new discoveries makes having a camera in my hands, amazing!  Looking forward to seeing the rest of the images from her session!

We are BACK from our hiatus….!  We went on a vacation (don’t ask me why considering this is our busiest time of year…) but nevertheless, here is a shot from the ever beautiful Cierra Sutherland!  Holy bombshell, batman!  Oh yes I did!  We got to photograph Cierra and her brother Chase the week before we left on vacation.  I’m retouching their sessions right now and got to this one and the shot of them together and just had to post them!  Looking forward to seeing them next week to show them the rest!

Miss Rachel of Stanton is a stunner, isn’t she?!?!  She’s one of those girls that is even more beautiful in person….sweet as can be, well mannered and obviously gorgeous!  We enjoyed working for her!  My favorite is this first one.  Her eyes are so captivating.  These shots encompass a nice variety of ‘looks’.  Sometimes our customers don’t want to “be serious” but sometimes that’s EXACTLY what makes the photograph.  It’s all in the eyes!  We always get the good smiles but it’s important to cover all the ‘looks’!

We’re in full swing with the Class of 2012! Meet Jordan! She’ll be a Senior at Greenville High School in the Fall and is a triple threat….gorgeous, smart, and a tomboy! She rides around on her ATV and has guns and EVERYTHING. (she has brothers….) We had a great time photographing her! We started in the studio and ended up at her house with a few stops in between!  Thanks for choosing GP, Jordan!  We keep saying this over and over, but we PROMISE to start updating the blog more regularly.  We may even have to let Rachael take over blog duty for us.  Truth is, we’re very busy and it kinda takes a back seat to other things around here but it’s so important to us to keep our awesome customers updated on studio news so starting with Jordan we will officially be posting at least once a week.  And if you catch us slacking, call us out on it!!!!
